Color, marbling, touch, shine – now, bowl no. 5 of 20 is the first to be covered in pigment: black iron oxide and pure copper flakes. It explores color intensity and effect without losing the principles of the series: being both durable and dissolvable.
Sometimes, it takes years for a product to grow, develop, become. But with “Ben”, a stool or small side table, things just happened. And now, sooner than expected, it is there! Available in different woods, for different expressions – production takes place right here in Potsdam.
Only 10 minutes drive away from the Studio lies a small porcelain manufacturer called Adam & Ziege. 4 floors filled with molds, models, prototypes, products, and knowledge. We have started a collaboration, producing a teapot and a matching stove. Porcelain is a stubborn, tricky material, but the first results are fine!
