Teeholz (meaning “Teawood”) is a small, functional sculpture. A solid wooden ring, a fine Porcelain plate. A floating, rounded gesture, an narrow gap of light. Behind the sculptural design hides an optimized functionality, a process of technical development that enables a perfect airflow to and from the candle. Teeholz goes well with the teapot Flüss, or any other teapot that fits.
porcelain parts were regionally handcrafted by Adam&Ziege, wooden parts in solid beech were handmade by Ingmar Cramers works with a standard tealight candle, with or without an aluminum cup all pieces are numbered and stamped available variations: porcelain light blue glaze – light beech porcelain matte black glaze – light beech
Update: Unfortunately and unexpectedly, the porcelain manufacturer Adam&Ziege GbR. has closed its doors. The uniqueness of their handcrafted porcelain did not find a way alongside industrial production. As a result, the edition of Teeholz will consist of 10 pieces only.
